Chicago Craft Beer Weekend, December 4-6

Chicago Craft Beer Weekend, December 4-6
From 2009: A Heineken beer bottle tree in Shanghai.

I have gotten word of many more "12 beers of Christmas" promotions, many of which are ongoing through Christmas or even the month of December. Some of these I may be repeating in later listings, depending on my stamina.

And watch for my New Year's Eve listings, coming, hopefully, soon enough that you can make your reservations.

Cademon Brewery 1 Year Anniversary continues
Cademon Brewing Co., 217 W. Main St., Genoa, IL (815) 827-6145
It's been a long, crazy year since the day we opened our doors to the public. Now it's time to celebrate what we've accomplished in our first year with an epic four-day anniversary party! We will be releasing not one but FOUR anniversary beers:
1. Marshmallow Demonic - Imperial Coffee Stout aged with loads of Fresh vanilla beans. This makes Vanilla Demonic seem weak in comparison.
2. Spicy Demonic - Imperial Coffee Stout aged with Ancho & Habanero peppers. Lots of spicy complexity with a bit of habanero burn in the back.
3. Morning Demonic - Imperial Coffee Stout aged with Oats, Maple Syrup, and even more coffee. Skip the orange juice and drink this with your morning toast.
4. Raspberry Demonic - Imperial Coffee Stout aged with Raspberries. We told the farmer to get us all the raspberries he had, then to go to the store and buy another pound.
But not only are we going to have those anniversary beers, we're going to be releasing them in our very first every bottle release! That's right, a four-pack of Imperial Demonic beers available for sale on Saturday, December 5th at 11:00am.
Throughout our anniversary we'll be putting on a bunch of one-off, small batch beers and continuously rotating them as they disappear. The result: a lot of deliciousness and a taplist that will change all weekend long. One of those one-off beers? A firkin of Genowhere IPA with Red Grapefruit that will be tapped on Friday, December 4th at 5pm.
There're loads of other things we'll be doing throughout the weekend so mark your calendar to come celebrate one year of Cademon Brewing with us!
