The official closing parties of Chicago Craft Beer Week are tonight. But there's still one more day Sunday to shake those limbs loose and get a hair of the dog!

Celebrate Craft Beer Week and the opening of boating season and Thursday Night Boat Races in the Biergarten at Chain O'Lakes Brewing Company. Chain O'Lakes Brewing Company will have the Northern Illinois Drag Boat Association (NIDBA) on site with their blown alcohol hydro parked in the beer garden. This is one of the fastest boats in the country.
Their will also be a book signing and slide presentation by @David Lester, Fox Chain Historian and Author of "The History of Boating on the Fox Chain O'Lakes."
Food Truck on site and $4 Fox River Scotch Ale.
Great way to end Craft Beer week and prepare for Memorial Day Weekend and Thursday Night Boat Races at Blarney Island on the Chain.

We’re closing out Chicago Craft Beer Week with a special beer tapping from Two Brothers Brewing (Warrenville, IL)!
We’ll be tapping an awesome new IPA called Wobble (and giving out special one-of-a-kind Wobble glasses) and the award winning Sour #2. In addition, Sidekick and Ebel’s Weiss will be available in tallboy cans for $3 all day long!

The Illinois Craft Brewers Guild and the Welles Park Advisory Council present: 1st Annual Welles Park Craft Beer Fest, the official closing craft beer festival of Chicago Craft Beer Week 2015.
The city’s largest craft beer “party in the park” will be hosted within beautiful Welles Park, a 15-acre park in the heart of Lincoln Square at Lincoln and Montrose Avenues. Festivities will commence with a VIP event beginning at 12:00pm, and General Admission running between 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
The Welles Park Craft Beer Fest (WPCBF) will offer a VIP hour to kick off the day, which includes $10 in food tickets provided by participating 47th Ward vendors, early access to all of the participating breweries (12:00pm), and VIP tents featuring specialty pours.

General Admission will include craft beer, hours of entertainment and food for purchase. The CCBW celebration of craft beer ends in the heart of Ravenswood/47th Ward, and we invite all neighborhoods to join us on May 23rd to experience beer and culinary creativity within the 47th Ward.

Designated drivers or non-beer drinkers CAN access the fest without a ticket.
Tickets are still available (as of Friday evening) at Brown Paper Tickets. If still available, General Admission tickets will be available at the door for $65

The entire event runs between Noon-5PM. VIP ticket holders get access from Noon – 5PM and General Admission from 1PM – 5PM.
Non-beer drinking guests do not need a ticket to the fest. However, anyone found sharing beer will escorted from premises.
We encourage attendees to drink responsibly and take public transportation. Although there is street parking, public transportation via the brown line is strongly encouraged.  For directions using public transportation visit

1:30 pm ♦ Super Duper Rare Brewery Tours, including a Windy City Rollers Fundraiser

We're offering two brewery tours to benefit the Windy City Rollers travel teams as part of Chicago Craft Beer Week! Our tours are few and far between, so don't miss out! The 45 minute tours of the brewery will feature four 3oz sample pours of our beer, including some of our CCBW specialty brews! Doors opening 10 minutes before each tour (1:20 PM and 2:50 PM, respectively). All proceeds from the 1:30 PM tour will go to support the Windy City Rollers, a nonprofit roller derby league, and their travel teams. Tickets are $10 plus fees at Brown Paper Tickets. Homebrewers’ Pride of the Southside, Bubbly Dynamics LLC and Motor Row Brewing invite you to join us for the 4th Annual Bubbly Creek Barrel Brawl homebrew competition.
Event entry is just $25 per person. Guests receive a complimentary tasting glass to sample and judge each beer. Guests will also select the 2015 People’s Choice Winner.
This competition is open to all homebrewers who will compete to have their beer brewed professionally at Motor Row Brewing. Entries will be judged by a panel of BJCP judges and craft beer drinkers at a public tasting event.

The scene: you've spent all day at the first annual Welles Park Craft Beer Fest and things are winding down. What now? Drink more craft beer, that's what now.
Join The Grafton Pub and Mash Kitchen, two fantastic neighboring craft beer bars (located directly across the street from one another), in a brewery event featuring two fantastic, local operations. Pollyanna Brewing Co. (Lemont, IL) and Illuminated Brew Works (Chicago) are going to be at both locations partying well into the night. Each bar will have two handles from each brewery, pouring a wonderment of brews hand picked for the festivities.
Brewers and owners will be on hand from both breweries at both bars. Gotta question? Ask away. Gotta a complaint? Stick it in the bottom of your beer glass.
Beers will be tapped at 5PMish.

Live out that fantasy you've been too ashamed to admit, and dominate the ping pong competition within spitting distance of stainless steel brewhouse equipment, staying hydrated with fresh craft beer. Tournament winner takes home some Temperance gear. Brackets start busting at 7 pm. Amazing pulled pork, smoked wings, loaded mac & cheese, and kale & quinoa salad by Bluestone.

Our friends at SlapShot Brewing Co. will be tapping a couple of their beers (Citra Madness & Monkey Dancing on a Razor Blade) as well as a special firkin of McLaughlin Red Eye porter with vanilla beans, cocoa nibs, and cinnamon sticks. We will be tapping everything at 7:00pm. Both the brewers and the owners will be in house so feel free to ask them questions.
