12 Burgers and Beers of Christmas at Poag Mahone's

Each day, Poag Mahone's is tapping a rare craft beer and releasing a tasty new burger! We’ll be revealing the burgers and beers DAILY  by announcing them exclusively via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Some of the beers are so hard to come by we only have 40 pours! All of our burgers are made with grass fed beef and the combinations our chefs have come up with are quite unique.

Toast to the holiday season at Timothy O'Toole's Pub. The subterranean Streeterville tavern will launch a "12 Beers of Christmas" punch card program beginning on Monday, December 8. The first batch of seasonal suds to be tapped include: Founders Breakfast Stout; Avery Old Jubilation; Bell's Christmas Ale; Deschutes Jubelale; Great Divide Hibernation Ale; and Great Lakes Christmas Ale.
On Sunday, December 14, the second six brews will become available, including: Three Floyds Alpha Klaus Christmas Porter; Boulder Slope Style Winter IPA; Boulevard Nutcracker Ale; Delirium Noel; Revolution Fistmas Ale; and The Bruery 7 Swans-A-Swimming.
All guests will receive a punch card; those who complete the card during the month of December will receive a beer lovers gift bag.

Each course will be paired with a different Off Color selection, plus a welcome beer on entry. The excitement doesn't stop there: brewers from Off Color will be on-hand to field questions, and walk guests through the brewing process. Starting at 8 pm, the tap takeover will continue and you'll still have a chance to get your hands on some Fierce, Apex Predator, Biere de Guard Dog, and DinoS'mores.

Our collaboration with South Loop Brewing Company – Milkstachio, our 6% Pistachio Milk Stout – is making a comeback tonight. Brewed with unrefined cacao nibs, lactose, and pistachio, the velvet mouthfeel gives way to a smooth creamy chocolate finish.
Milkstachio Beer Floats will make an appearance too. Yes, you read that right.
Lastly, we will tap two Aquanaut Brewing Company beers since South Loop Brewing will be producing beer there for the first year: Maiden Voyage (Rye IPA) - 6.1% ABV, The Search (Extra Special Bitter) - 5.4% ABV

Tuman’s taps a rare firkin of cask-conditioned Revolution Brewing Ivan’s Extra Special Bitter. This limited release ESB is exclusively available at Tuman’s and Revolution’s brewpub and taproom. The nicely balanced brew, which is named for Jimmy Cliff’s character in the 1973 movie “The Harder They Come,” is a harmonious blend of big malt and big hop. The bar offers a $10 “frank and firkin combo,” which includes a Columbus Meat Market spicy Italian sausage sandwich with roasted sweet peppers and a 20 oz. imperial pint of Ivan’s ESB. The Italian sausage sandwich is $6 a la carte and the imperial pint of ESB is $7. The kitchen is open until 11 p.m.
