October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Franklin Tap will bring awareness to the cause by partnering with The Lynn Sage Foundation's "In Good Taste" campaign. From October 1 though 31, Franklin Tap will feature an array of pumpkin craft brews on draft (outlined below) with a portion of the proceeds being donated to The Lynn Sage Foundation, a Chicago-based organization committed to finding a cure for breast cancer.
Pair your pumpkin beer with Chef Glenn Pistorio's tavern menu, featuring appetizers, soup, salads, sandwiches and more.

Every Tuesday, Beermiscuous pours free 2 oz. samples of several different beers during its Tasting Tuesday. Each week features a unique format: themed tastings, tastings of related beer styles, a focus on a specific brewer (with representatives from the brewery), or simply random. Samples are limited so arrive early. We'll have representatives from Goose Island in the cafe on October 14.

Spark your creativity with beer, and paint your own beer label! Beermiscuous is hosting a monthly Arts & Crafts Night in partnership with its Lincoln Avenue neighbor, Bottle & Bottega.
For the inaugural event, Bottle & Bottega instructors will help you create your own beer label masterpiece. The $45 ticket price includes a flight of four, 4 oz. beers plus all paint supplies, aprons and a 16” x 20” take-home canvas.
There are only 20 spots available so purchase advance tickets on the Bottle & Bottega website.

Celebrate Harvest season with Founders Brewing’s limited release: Harvest Ale, a wet-hopped ale brewed fresh from the hop harvest. We will have this special release available on draft and for purchase in 4 packs, limit one per customer. Other seasonal releases on tap will be Mosaic Promise - a single hop & single malt IPA, Breakfast Stout – an oatmeal stout with coffee & chocolate, and Dark Penance – an Imperial black IPA that is a new release in the Founders amazing portfolio of IPA’s.

Chicago Green Wedding Alliance is excited to announce Wedtoberfest (formerly known as Bridetoberfest)! An evening for beer, brats and the betrothed, Wedtoberfest is a beer tasting for engaged couples and their friends, combined with a casual wedding event featuring eco-friendly wedding vendors and tips for creating a more mindful event.
This event has been created to encourage couples to support local breweries at their wedding and events. Attendees will receive a commemorative tasting glass at the beginning of the event & five tasting tickets – choose 5 beers to taste from the featured breweries: Goose Island, Tighthead, Finch’s, Begyle, New HollandSolemn Oath.
Beyond the beer (as if you needed more!), there will be a casual planning lounge set up where couples can meet, greet, and cheers with Chicago Green Wedding Alliance members and consider other aspects of their wedding. Throughout the space, there will be tables filled with information and inspiration on how to build a green wedding.
There will also be a raffle drawing every hour on the hour with great prizes. The event is cash only. Entrance Fee: $25.00 through Brown Paper Tickets

Team sign-up is from 6-7 p.m. and the games go from 7-8 p.m. Teams will be presented with a series of brain teasers, quizzes and trivia questions. Each team will have one opportunity per round to "Ask The Oracle" for advice on a question of their choice. There will be 3 rounds each consisting of 3 questions. Prizes will be awarded to the team with the highest score at the end of the third and final round. Featured beers: Bell's Amber Ale, Best Brown Ale, Kalamazoo Stout, The Oracle DIPA and Two Hearted Ale.

Join us for one of our widely popular Brewmaster Dinners. The event starts at 6:30 pm with a beer reception where attendees can sample their choice of any of our handcrafted beers. During the reception hour Brewmaster Rob Hunter and the brewing staff, will conduct tours of our brewery and explain the beer making process. During dinner our chef and Rob will passionately explain their handiwork and how it applies to each of the five delicious courses. The price for this unique culinary experience is $59.95 per person, plus tax. Brewmaster Dinners are held semi-annually. Brewmaster Dinners are held semi-annually at each of Emmett's 3 locations.

Meet certified cicerone Rick Wildt from Goose Island Beer Company, win prizes and enjoy beer-inspired specials and limited release brews at this special beer night. Featured Goose Island beers, which range from $5-$12, include Rambler IPA, Oktoberfest Ale, 2013 Bourbon County Stout, Sticky Feathers IPA, The Muddy Imperial Stout and Lilith Berliner weiss.
The event is free to attend with food and drink on consumption. A raffle begins at 10 p.m. (must be present to win) and features grand prizes such as 2014 Goose Island 312 Bike by Sole and a private tour of the Fulton and Wood Brewery for the winner plus nine guests. The private tour is led by Rick Wildt and includes samples of Goose Island products.

Lucky's Wicker Park and Lagunitas Brewing Company will be hosting a free tap take over and live mural painting, with a chance to win a VIP tour of the Chicago Lagunitas Brewery for 4 people.
Renowned Chicago artist Nora Kate will astound Chicago craft beer lovers with her talented artistry as she transforms an ordinary wall into a Lagunitas masterpiece. Chicago based duo Sklut & Weston will set the soundtrack for the night by playing a mix of their hits and well known covers, live! Meet some of the folks from Lagunitas while sipping on featured Lagunitas craft drafts for just $4 a pint.
Folks will also be introduced to Lucky's newly revamped interior and enhanced food and cocktail menu. Interior improvements were designed with the easygoing Chicago food, sports and beer connoisseur in mind. Comfortable seating and mindful placement of 8 large screen TV's, allow guests to enjoy each others company, albeit a game day or not. Although Lucky's famous loaded sandwiches will still be featured on the menu, new items such as The Big Kahuna, Muchacho and The Lucky's Burger, as well as The Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese are soon to be neighborhood favorites.
