Fischman's Liquors & Tavern, 4780 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago (773) 545-0123
It's a Blind Tasting! We're tapping 4 beers. Not just any beer, though. Each of these beers are guilty of causing a lot of seed to be spilled on the pages of Beer Advocate magazine!"
The way this'll work come in....order a $10 flight....taste all 4 beers and pick your favorite! The following day we will reveal the true identities of the beer and how they ranked with you. There will be a cool prize for the one who can name all 4 beers in this blind tasting!
Some beers are highly regarded. Some are overlooked. Some are over-hyped. All these things surrounding the beer seem to have significant influence on a person's decision as to whether or not the beer is the best or the one they should look for at a bar or store. This doesn't go for everyone, but we've all seen it enough to know this is a regular occurrence.
Is this a problem? We don't know! Should we challenge this "hype" surrounding all these beers? Could be fun, so why the hell not!
As usual we'll have music for your listening pleasure and food trucks for your oral pleasure!

Homebrewers should bring 64 oz. of their beer and be prepared to present their recipe vision and brewing process. Anyone is welcome to present beers — no need to sign up in advance.
