Yup, there are TWO MORE brewhouses opening their doors this weekend!

Friday-Sunday, June 27-29

1:30 pm - 2:30 pm ♦ Mega Beer Fest

Mega Events, Inc. and Porky's Rib Fest invite you to the first annual 2014 MEGA BEER FEST. Tickets are $35 through Ticketwiz for four tasting sessions: Friday, June 27th, from 7pm-10pm
Saturday, June 28th, from 2pm-5pm or  7pm-10pm
Sunday, June 29th, from 4pm-7pm - Fourth Session (Special, Tickets $19.50)
Besides featuring over 75 craft beers from around the country, we will also be the place for:
Live music & entertainment, Huge carnival, Fireworks, and Rib vendors from around the country
Mega Beer Fest is the ultimate opportunity to celebrate and experience America's finest beers, to sample and learn from a diverse lineup of over 75 beers, and to connect with other beer enthusiasts.

Lake Bluff Brewing Co is joining the Village of Lake Bluff for the 2nd year in a row to host an Antique Auto Show/Block Party! This is also the one year anniversary of the release of our Gamma Ray, so to celebrate we are releasing 3 different dry-hopped versions of the “best Pale Ale of Chicago.” (Chicago Magazine) Party starts at 5:00 and the brewery will be open until Midnight.

Join the Youth Guidance  Junior Board for this delicious beer tasting event –featuring 15+ beers by C.H.A.O.S. Brew Club  and tasty eats from The Fat Shallot!
The event will also feature a fabulous raffle with unbeatable prizes from Deschutes Brewery, Lagunitas Brewery, Big Onion Tavern group, Dr Martens and much more!

Werk Force, the brewing arm of the Chicago Brew Werks homebrew shop, announces "Beers on Tap - finally! Do we need any more reason to have a PARTY!" They acquired 2 BBL fermenters from Flesk Brewing when Flesk picked up 7 bbl tanks from SlapShot, which had upgraded to 15bbl fermenters. See how things work around here?
Entry is free, and beers range from $2 to $5. Mona Lisa Pizza Company will offer food for purchase after 1 p.m. out of their mobile brick oven trailer.

12:00 pm ♦ Atlas 2nd Anniversary Bash

Come help us celebrate our second birthday! We'll be releasing a new double IPA brewed just for the occasion, hosting a crawfish boil, as well as a Blindfolded Brewer Bowling tournament. The beer and crawfish special will be available when we open at noon. The bowling tournament will start at 8pm. The tournament is open to Illinois Craft Brewers Guild Members, though anyone is welcome to come and watch.

Together, they will lead a tasting of 7 salumi, which will be paired with just the right condiments and 5 Italian craft beers. By the end of class, you will walk away armed with the knowledge to recreate your own salumi & birra tasting at home.

Due to field conditions related to the recent inclement weather we are canceling the Arranmore Ale Fest scheduled for this Saturday. The safety of festival guests, vendors and our employees is our highest priority. We are currently working with the venue to reschedule for later this year.
