Y'know, I find I still get a lot of linkage for stories where I'm just passing along news that has been better reported, so here you go:

Friday April 18 marked the opening of Lagunitas Brewery's Chicago operation, as the first bottles of Lagunitas IPA rolled off the line. The brewery, founded in Pataluma, Califorrnia, has been working for nearly two years of its expansion facility at 1843 S. Washtenaw Ave. Ellen jean Hirst filed this story for the Tribune, complete with a video featuring Chicago native founder Tony Magee.
