Chicago Craft Beer Super Bowl Weekend Events

Chicago Craft Beer Super Bowl Weekend Events
Never got to that showdown between
Bud Light Select and Bud Dry Ice.

So, remember "Bud Bowl?" The early CGI commercials where bottles of Budweiser mixed it up during the Super Bowl. I see this year, their commercials won't even show the beer, just horses and puppies. But I have a couple of better matchups for you below:

The event will also include a raffle for the LAST BOTTLE of the US Open Beer Championship Wood Aged Imperial Stout Gold Medal winning Kosmonaut! The raffle tickets are $5 a piece, and all proceeds will go to the Ellie Burns Foundation!

For this week's Firkin Friday feature, we're thrilled to offer our first ever firkin from Lagunitas! Stop in for a cask-conditioned pint of their most awesome Lagunitas Sucks ale. A bright hoppy strong ale made with a "cereal medley" of barley, rye, wheat, and oats…. Full of "complexishness" from the four grains, and weighing in at 7.85% abv. Joyously dry-hopped with a boatload of hops for that big aroma and resinous hop flavor. Don't miss our first cask from Lagunitas!
Brewery representatives will be on hand to talk about the new Lagunitas Brewery being built in Chicago. They'll also be handing out some sweet Lagunitas swag to those enjoying a fine Lagunitas brew. So, come out, hang out, and show Lagunitas some love. They just might love ya back!
