Chicago Craft Beer Events, January 6-9

Chicago Craft Beer Events, January 6-9
I have all the supplies I need to wait out the frigid weather!

At last a few more craft beer events are trickling in. If you think this bone-chilling week's weather might keep you home, remember that allegedly Russian proverb:

“The church is near but the road is icy, the bar is far away but I will walk carefully”

And here's a not about a beer and soup pairing:

National Soup Month Beer Pairing at American Junkie
American Junkie Chicago, 15 Illinois St., Chicago 312-239-0995
Through January 31, American Junkie observes National Soup Month with a soup and beer pairing. Executive Chef Kendal Duque has specifically crafted these soups using seasonal ingredients and to pair perfectly with some of American Junkie's draft beers. Pairings include Smoked Chicken & Wild Rice Soup with Stone Cali-Belgique, and New England Clam Chowder with Deschutes Black Butte Porter. Soup alone is $7, or combine Soup and Beer, $12.
