Bigby's Pour House, 1700 W. Lake St., Addison, IL (630) 773-1050
Bibgy's is hosting a fundraiser for medical relief work being done in Southern India. All proceeds are going DIRECTLY to the organization and the people in Chennai, India. The needs are great, but the dollar goes a long way in Chennai. In India, we will be providing medical screenings, vitamins, water, domestic abuse counseling/training, and assistance with an important building project during our time there.
We'll have handmade Christmas gifts and baked treats for sale, as well as two AMAZING craft beer gift baskets for raffle (a picture attached to the Facebook events page shows some BCS, and boxed special releases from Firestone Walker and Revolution).
We'll also be hosting some extremely special guest musicians, who will spread the holiday cheer with carols new and old. They'll have CD's for sale as well, and have offered to donate a portion of their proceeds to the project.
All donations will be tax deductible through Parkview Community Church. Bigby's has also generously agreed to gift a portion of their proceeds to the project!
Check out Gilgal's website to get a feel for their work, and to understand how the caste system has left millions impoverished and in need of basic medical attention.
