For this week's Firkin Friday feature, we're quite excited to present a special "anstich" keg of Reissdorf Kölsch (4.8% abv). In Cologne, small–often wooden–casks are brought up to the Reissdorf pub via dumbwaiter and placed on the bar counter, then gravity-dispensed into narrow, cylindrical glasses called "Stangen." We will re-create this tradition right here at the Bavarian Lodge with one of the very same gravity poured kegs served in the Reissdorf Brewpub in Cologne, Germany. An event any aficionado of German beer should not miss!
