Revolution Beer Tapping: Oktoberfest

Let’s celebrate Une Année Brewery and Owner/Head Brewer Jerry Nelson with a release party for his first three batches of beer, featuring the Une Année/DryHop collab, The Devil’s Reign.
Tapping schedule is as follows:
7pm – Une Année’s Maya, a 7.7% Belgian IPA dryhopped with an abundance of American hops.
8pm – Une Année’s Less is More, a 4.4% summer Saison brewed with orange zest and juice.
9pm – The release of our collab with Une Année and Jerry’s first batch. The Devil’s Reign, a 9.1% Belgian Golden Strong brewed using American hops Simcoe and Citra instead of traditional German. Poured from a firkin.

Bell's Oracle is an extremely limited and rare beer, but the wisdom that it holds is worth every bit of the trials and tribulations required to obtain it. Or, you could just skip the whole trials and tribulations bit, and come by Jerry's for a couple of delicious beers. The Voice of the Divine will pour from a beer tap at Jerry's-Wicker Park.

6:00 - 8:00 pm ♦ Goose Island "Be a Brewmaster" Contest

Goose Island and Stout Barrel House and Galley team up for a "Be a Brewmaster" beer-themed event. From 6-8 p.m., participating guests each receive a raffle ticket (additional raffle tickets are awarded with purchase of Goose Island beer) that may win prizes. First prize is a 312 customized bicycle, given away at 8 p.m. The bike winner is then entered in the "Be a Brewmaster" contest, for the chance to collaborate with Goose Island Brewmaster Nick Barron. The winner (chosen at a later date) and two friends will assist Barron in brewing and naming their own beer. When the beer is ready, Goose Island will host a keg tapping party where the winner and Nick Barron will ceremoniously tap the first keg of beer.
Stout will offer the following Goose Island brews:

Our “Tapping of the Keg” event kicks off our annual Oktoberfest! The highlight of the evening will be the official Berghoff Oktoberfest keg tapping at 7:30 pm with an official prost by Berghoff Brewery representatives. WGN’s David Kaplan will be broadcasting live from our historic Century Room from 7-10 pm. Samples of the freshly made Oktoberfest seasonal will be offered immediately following the tapping. Make sure to wear your authentic German attire for a chance to win our “Germaniac” costume contest.
