Chicago Craft Beer Weekend, May 30-June 2

Chicago Craft Beer Weekend, May 30-June 2
A Blackhawks logo put together from 12-pack boxes! Source: Beer Boxing Designs.

Update: I finally found the source of the cool Blackhawk logo above. It's a group of college students in Cleveland who are "recycling" beer packaging under the name Beer Boxing Designs. That link also includes an Etsy page with some of their work for sale!

And I totally neglected to add a listing for Saturday's Grayslake Craft Beer Festival. So catch up to the information in a new article here.

Got a ton of stuff to catch up to here. Some places I've seen, some beers I've drank, etc. But let's get into the swing by telling you about a few highlights, like beer tastings, dinners, and the big festival for this weekend:

I'm also starting a new "subdivision" of the Beeronaut on my Blogger page called "The Annex," which will feature news releases and stories slightly outside the purview of this column's beer-centric editorial mandate. To start off: The Jim Beam folks suggest some cocktails for watching the Blackhawks pin the Red Wings tonight.
