Pipeworks, Spiteful, Begyle, 18th Street. Homebrewing is how the craft brewing movement started and these chaps cut their teeth hunched over boiling kettles in their own kitchens. Small but mighty, these brewers tread the razor's edge of professional nano-brewing and homebrewing, which is not to say that the beers which they produce are not absolutely awe-inspiring. On the other side of the razor, our homebrewing friends, Distortion Brewing, will be pouring some of their latest. Some of the best beer in the nation is produced by these poets of liquid and The Green Lady is honored to have them all under one roof, with a plethora of unbelievably tasty offerings to accompany their smiling faces. Celebrating the previous year’s achievements and looking forward to the bright futures of Chicago’s most promising artisanal craftsmen of beer, this event epitomizes the growing beer community in The City of Big Shoulders. This is sure to be one of the most exciting events of the year. Come get inspired!
