Chicago Craft Beer Week Highlight, Friday, May 24

Into the home stretch, and I might finally be going somewhere Thursday afternoon. So I'm just gathering everything with some local interest, or maybe has some rare beers, and letting 'er rip!

12:00 pm ♦ Double Firkin Tapping

Every Friday at noon, we tap a firkin of a one-time concoction. This firkin is always unique, and can only be enjoyed in the tap room here on Lincoln Avenue. For CCBW, we're elevating our firkin game. Today, we'll tap a special firkin at noon, then tap a second firkin at 4 PM. We'll announce what's inside the firkin on the day of the event.

Come out and meet the brewers from Revolution Brewing in Chicago. We will be tapping one of their beers on our Hand-pump beer engine. Also, on draft we will have their Gravedigger, Rosa, and possibly 2 more specialty drafts.

Paddy's bacon brain trust has come up with a wet cured bacon made with Lagunitas IPA and then smoked with a dry rubbed designed to go perfectly with a pint of Lagunitas IPA. Everyone who buys a pint receives a free slice of this hand made bacon. We'll also have some other fun Lagunitas drafts.
