Mahoney’s Pub & Grille will welcome the second installment of "Lager Jam," a craft beer and sausage sampling fest, produced by the makers of Chicago’s annual “WingFest.” “Lager Jam II” takes place Saturday, September 29 from noon to 3:00 p.m. at Mahoney’s, 551 N. Ogden Ave. in Chicago.
Tickets to Lager Jam II are $20 in advance and $25 the day of the event, if available. Ticket holders can sample up to 30 craft beers per person, matched with bite-sized sausage samples. The inaugural Lager Jam in May of 2012 included beers from Point, Sam Adams, Goose Island, Shock Top, Big Sky, Clown Shoes, Three Heads, New Belgium, Magic Hat, Lakefront and more. These beers were paired with freshly barbecued, savory sausages with flavors like: Garlic & Spinach, Applewood-Chardonnay and Southwest Green Chiles, along with staples such as Polish, Bratwurst, Kielbasa, Cervelat, Andouille, Knackwurst, Chorizo, Bockwurst and Blood sausages. Lager Jam II promises a whole new experience with just as much deliciousness.
Lager Jam will take place, rain or shine, at Mahoney’s outdoor patio, their airy cantina and spacious indoor bar, too. A limited amount of tickets will be sold for this event, and tickets may be purchased online at www.ticketweb.com, keyword LAGER JAM.
I happen to have access to a pair of tickets, or rather, the organizers are setting a pair aside. Go to my Facebook Beer Fan page and enter your name, or comment below! First commenter based on the comment's timestamp will have the tickets put in their name!
