The awesomeness that is Chicago Craft Beer Week rolls on. I have selected events that include two new brewery tap rooms, disc golf, and a chance to drink beer while tattoo artists are at work. What could possibly go wrong? Oh yeah; there's that NATO thing going on that may make getting around a little hard. And speaking of potential disaster, the Cubs-Sox series is underway. I'm thinking if you're headed anywhere east of the Red Line between Wrigley and Sox park, check that Traffic on the 8's.

Brewmaster Tim Marshall, previously brewmaster at Rock Bottom Lombard, will have these beers on tap:
Khlöros – ABV 4.5% (KLOR-ohs) Light bodied and refreshing, our take on a Belgian white ale is delicately spiced with orange and lemon peels as well as Indian green coriander for a herbal, lemony character with some notes of summer stone fruit and citrus. Suggested glass – Bulb
Oubliette – ABV 6% (oob-LEE-ette) Aromatic Belgian malts and yeast combine with American variety hops in this golden blonde colored ale to produce a melange of fruit flavors including orange and grapefruit citrus and tropical fruit. Suggested glass – Tulip
ultrahighfrequency – ABV 7.5% This ruby colored American Red Ale is medium bodied and rich with toasted caramel malt flavors dominated by aggressive citrusy hops. Suggested glass – Tulip
Will there be an extra tap for their American style IPA, Kidnapped by Vikings? Maybe I’ll find out for myself. Meantime, Tim writes that they will be brewing on opening day, so be patient if the service is running slow!
