Joe Barley, co-owner of the newly established Solemn Oath Brewery in Naperville. is coming in at 7:00 p.m. to talk about their new brewery and beer creations. Frontier will be showcasing three of their very first batch releases: Khlöros - ABV 4.5% - Light bodied and refreshing take on a Belgian white ale delicately spiced with orange and lemon peels, as well as Indian green coriander, for a herbal, lemony character with some notes of summer stone, fruit and citrus. Oubliette - ABV 6% - Aromatic Belgian malts and yeast are combined with American variety hops in this golden blonde colored ale producing a melange of fruit flavors including citrus and tropical fruit. Ultrahighfrequency - ABV 7.5% - This ruby colored American Red Ale is medium bodied and rich with toasted caramel malt flavors dominated by aggressive and citrusy hops. Bigby's will be releasing Left Hand Brewery's Weak Sauce. This limited, one-off beer was released for the sole purpose of Craft Beer Week, and Bigby's (along with 7 other lucky bars in Illinois) grabbed a keg. We will also be tapping another special keg from Left Hand, their Wake Up Dead Imperial Stout (another high gravity beer at over 10%). In addition, we will have Left Hand reps on hand to answer any questions you may have about the beer/brewery, and will also have other Left Hand beers available in bottles.
