Pints & the Past Craft Beer Week Trolley Tours, presented by River North and Chicago History Museum. Join us as we tour some of Chicago’s best craft beer bars.   • 8-8:30 pm: Local Option Bierwerker, at The Local Option, 1102 W. Webster. Bierwerker is Local Option’s brewing division... enjoy their fine beers in their home.
  • 8:40-9:10 pm: Duvel / Brasserie D’Achouffe, Belgium, at Bar on Buena, 910 W. Buena Ave.
  • 9:20-9:50 pm: Maisel’s Weisse, Veltins and Zwick’l Kellerbier, Germany at Mrs. Murphy and Son’s Irish Bistro, 3905 N. Meet one of the owners of Uinta Brewing Co. Steve Kuftinec, who will tantalize your taste buds with their“out-of-the-box” award winning Crooked Line collection. It’ll be a Tap Takeover along with some bottles to try and of course he’ll be taking you to school with a little Beer 101. Definitely a good time! What beers will you be tasting? It’ll be a great lineup. Classic Line: Dubhe (pronounced Doo-Be) Imperial Black IPA brewed with hemp seed.

Since the owner and the beer buyer of Bigby's are a little west-coast biased, we thought we would show some love to a great brewery of the South. Wednesday, Bigby's will be releasing Shiner's Wild Hare, the first ale crafted by the Spoetzl Brewery in its 103-year history, and will now be available to Illinois. This pale ale release will also be accompanied with other year-round brews from Shiner.
