I've finally wrapped up my coursework for the semester after encountering a problem:
You know how in PL/SQL Oracle when you create new users you also grant them specific access to view or update files? Sure you do. But every user I created had full dba access by default. Makes it difficult to test your assignment to create users and write the statements giving specific privileges. I worked around by writing triggers specific to each user name. I did, I did! Hope that counts for extra credit.
Anyway, on to beer stuff.
I too am gearing up for Chicago Craft Beer Week. Although this year's promotion will be more inclusive than last year's disaster, I'll again be trying to highlight events whether they're on the "official" calendar or not.
The migration to the chitownontap calendar is live, but it still has a few glitches. My idea is NOT to stay up til 3 am putting it together, but, well, technical difficulties and all. I'll spend a lot of time setting up the computer to do my work for me in the near future.
Anyway, here are some highlights of this weekend for Cinco de Mayo and the Kentucky Derby. Those that involve more than buckets of Coronitas and Mint Juleps:
