Local Option, 1102 W. Webster Ave., Chicago (773) 348-2008
There's a lot of pseudo-political mumbo-jumbo on their event listing, but I think what we want to see is the beer list for this event:

There's an even longer bottle list. Just go.
6:00 - 11:30 p.m. • "Firkin Friday" Cask Tapping: Schneider Weisse Nelson Sauvin
The Bavarian Lodge, 1800 Ogden Ave, Lisle, IL (630) 241-4701
We're tapping a different cask-conditioned artisan brew every Friday night. Dispensed by gravity directly from the firkin, tapped right on the bar counter. Today's upcoming cask: Schneider Weisse: Mein "Tap X" Nelson Sauvin. A special release from Bavaria's G. Schneider & Sohn! A blonde weizenbock brewed with New Zealand hops! A rich golden and cloudy wheat bock. The aroma reminds you of blossoms, freshly mowed grass, even grapes, gooseberry and kiwi. A rarity on draft, and even more elusive in this gravity cask format. A sign-up sheet will be available behind the bar, beginning at noon, Monday, January 23. Sign up will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, with a cap of 18 entrants. The Map Room will supply the spoons and serving bowls for each station. The best chili and best pairing categories will be judged by a secret committee selected by the bar.
