Monday, January 30

5:30 - 6:30 p.m. ♦ Italian Craft Beer & Charcuteri

6:00 - 8:00 p.m. ♦ Canned Beer Dinner

Tokio Pub has found its inner “PUB” and is pleased to roll out their first beer dinner of 2012. As part of the evening, the restaurant will serve-up a very special four course dinner featuring beer-infused dishes and individually served cans of beers from local breweries. The dinner check-in begins at 6:00 p.m. and the first round of food will be served at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $45 per person (excluding tax and tip) and reservations are required. The menu offers pairings with Half Acre Daisy Cutter Pale Ale, Finch's Golden Wing Blonde Ale, Wild Onion Hopslayer Double IPA and Wild Onion Jack Stout. The entire restaurant will be closed to the public for the beer dinner and will only be open to beer dinner guests for cocktails after the feast. Facebook info.

It's Tighthead's first beer Dinner, part of a weeklong Tap Takeover at The Vine. Tickets are $65. A three course dinner, plus social hour and dessert course, all paired with Tighhead Comfortably Blonde, Scarlet Fire Red Ale, Irie IPA, Hat Trick Tripel and Boxcar Porter. Seating starts at 7:00.

German beer isn’t all just pilsner and hefeweizens! Come taste through and learn about some other, lesser known styles such as helles, doppelbock, altbier, schwarzbier, and more! We’re also very excited to have our good friend, Katie Reed, on hand to help us for the evening.Katie is the Beer Director up at Bar on Buena, and quite the authority on German beer herself! Here’s what we’ll be tasting: Mahr’s Helles, Augustiner Edelstoff Pale Lager, Sünner Kölsch, 1809 Berliner Weiss, Schlenkerla Märzen Rauchbier, Monchshof Kellerbrau, Weihenstephaner Vitus Weizenbock, Kapuziner Schwarz-Weizen, Veldensteiner Landbier, Uerige Doppel Sticke Altbier, Ettal Curator Doppelbock, EKU 28 Doppelbock, Kulmbacher Eisbock. $30/person, reservations are highly recommended. Wednesday, February 1

Metropolitan Brewer of the Month

On February 1st we will celebrate Metropolitan as Brewer of the month by tapping a barrel of Koval Rye Whiskey Barrel aged FlyBock (Exclusive to Sheffields), Generator Doppelbock, Ironworks and Dynamo Copper Lager. There will also be representatives from the brewery on hand.
