  • Doors will open at 9 a.m. on Dec. 9.
  • Eccentric attire is required – come as you aren’t. If you are not dressed for the occasion, you will be turned away at the door.
  • There is no cover.
  • There will be eccentric food.
  • DJ Bowser will provide the tunes.
  • Both the front and back bar will be open.

35 Bell's beers will be on tap plus a firkin of Special Double Cream Stout. Here’s the lineup:

4:00 p.m. Schneider Weisse Tap X Mein Nelson Sauvin Tapping

We are excited to be tapping the very coveted Schneider Weisse Tap X Mein Nelson Sauvin. This beer was originally brewed to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Holland’s pioneering alliance of ABT craft beer cafes. Schneider-Weisse TAP X: Mein Nelson Sauvin marks a series of firsts for Germany’s longest-running wheat brewery. Rich and golden with floral and fruit overtones, this weizenbock not only represents the inaugural release in Schneider’s experimental Tap X series, but it is also the first Schneider beer to be brewed with a Belgian yeast strain since the brewery’s inception in 1872.

Friday Tastings are back at West Lakeview! Come in and taste the new beers from Danish brewer Evil Twin. We will be opening one bottle each of:

Location is the old Stefano's. Friends of McPherson (FOM) is a non-profit organization which works to assist McPherson Elementary School in Chicago's Lincoln Square neighborhood. Join us to wind down your week with some music, a raffle, silent auction… and BEER! Ticket price includes two drink tickets, appetizers, dinner, and dessert. Italian dinner provided by Andersonville's Calo Ristorante.
