Lucky Monk Oktoberfest

For $20 each night through September 24, receive a beer pint glass and a pour of Lucky Monk Oktoberfest beer (refills are $4 each). Monday, September 19: $10 House Brew Pint and Choice of Pizza. Tuesday, September 20: German Beer Tasting from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Guests can try The Lucky Monk Oktoberfest beer along with seven other German beers led by Brewmaster Anthony Carollo. $30 per person includes a tasting glass and pretzels (plus tax and gratuity). Limited Space is available. Call the restaurant to sign up.

Our next Chef and Brewer's Dinner will consist of 3 larger appetizers and 3 desserts all of which will have chocolate in the recipe. We are currently taking reservations for this and we have plenty of space left as we have increased the number reservations we are taking due to the popularity of these events.

6:00 - 8:00 p.m. City Provisions September Beer release party

Chef Cleetus Friedman of City Provisions celebrates the release of Terminator X (an American Strong Ale brewed with Black Strap Molasses), his collaboration with Greenbush Brewing Company from Sawyer, MI. There will be snacks available, as well as beer to taste and for sale. This event is a follow-up to his collaboration with Flossmoor Station Brewery and is part of a series of collaborations City Provisions will be doing with Chicago-area breweries.

6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Lagunitas Night

IPA on Draft, Censored and Doppel Weizen in the bottle. Chef Michael Wells will be making a complimentary plate for each of the featured beers. Order a beer and receive a plate! A rep from Lagunitas will be on hand passing out complimentary glassware while supplies last.

7:00 - 10:00 p.m. Dogfish Head Ancient Ales Dinner

We will be featuring several of Sam Calagione’s ales based on recipes gathered from archeological digs. Theobroma, Chateau Jiahu, Midas Touch, and Sah’tea are the result of research by molecular archeologist Patrick McGovern who analyzed shards of ancient beer vessels and came up with ingredients. Sam took it from there. Some more recent Dogfish beers will also be paired with dinner courses, including Bitches Brew.$75. Tickets available on Seating is very limited!

7:00 p.m. Three Floyds Night

Can't make it down to the Three Floyds brewpub in Munster? No worries! On Tuesday the 20th, Three Floyds is coming to you, bringing a load of brewpub grub and some very special beers perfectly paired to go with it. The pairings: Deviled eggs with Robert the Bruce (7%, 30 IBU) Lamb Baco with Moloko Milk Stout (8%, 30 IBU) Bacon Dashi (fish and bacon broth) with Munsterfest (6%, 30 IBU)

7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Two Brothers Beer Pairing Dinner

Made with fresh ingredients from Green City Market, who will benefit from the proceeds. Please join us for an exciting fundraising event to raise money for the Noble Network of Charter Schools' alumni scholarship fund. The event, called Noble Fest, will feature exclusive beer-tastings, a chance to learn about beer from Master Cicerones and the opportunity to directly support the scholarship fund and Noble alumni. It's also a great deal! - $75 for 3 hours of food and beer-tastings plus three classes and a raffle ticket, or $50 for just the food and beer tastings.
