Dripping Saison release

The Dripping Saison will be released on June 29th. This is an all draft / growler pour beer, so bring your glass and take home 64 oz of summer.
Background from the Half Acre blog: "We just scored some Saison yeast so we're brewing two back to back Saisons -- the first is a draft only beer called Dripping Saison. This is aimed at a core Saison to aid us all in gliding through the summer season with a stable go-to session anchor. We took a bit of it and roughed it up with some off-beat treatment.

5:00 - 8:00 p.m. A Night for Japan

On March 11, 2011 Japan was hit by a devastating earthquake and tsunami which took thousands of lives and caused billions of dollars in damages. The people of Japan are still struggling to get back on their feet. Please join Fountainhead to take a moment to remember what happened, to drink some of the best that Japan has to offer, and to raise some money to help speed their recovery efforts. We will be offering bottles of: Hitachino Espresso Stout, XH, White, & Commemorative Ale as well as drafts of: Hitachino White & Red Rice, plus Sake & fine Japanese Whisky from Suntory. And finally: A rare cask of Commemorative Ale. Chef Sarah will be creating some terrific Japanese inspired food specials.
To round out the night we will be playing music from some of our favorite Japanese artists and screening some great Japanese films on the TV. We will be donating a large portion of the proceeds from all sales to the Kiuchi Brewery, producers of the Hitachino Nest Beers. The Kiuchi family is using their facility to bottle water & cook free food for those who have lost their homes.

Due to the first Monday in July falling on the 4th we are tapping July's IPA early so it is available for the holiday. This light, refreshing summer IPA is dominated by the large amount of Amarillo hops used. I will have a dry hopped cask in the brewery for you all to try.

A unique collaboration of Chicago Food Trucks and Chicago's latest smash dive bar. Scott Harris (Francesca's, Purple Pig, Davanti Enoteca) is opening a new restaurant and bar in the South Loop area called Ethyl's Beer and Wine Dive. Starting June 30th and continuing every Thursday night throughout the summer there will be a collection of roughly 7 different Food Trucks outside the restaurant. Come have a good time with Goose Island Beer, Food Trucks, and Music.

Join us as we host Two Brothers Brewing Co. for a night of fantastic food paired with outstanding, locally brewed, American craft beer. Theevent will be led by Brahm Fetterman, certified Cicerone, of Two Brothers Brewing Co. Five of Two Brothers locally crafted brews will be paired with a four course menu created by our Executive Chef Marcus Mooney. By the way, Two Brothers takeover of the Roundhouse in Aurora has been completed. They have had their ribbon cutting Friday the 24th (announced only the day before), and while the Roundhouse's original web page still shows them as "closed," there's an impromptu Facebook page.
