Well, yes a lot more going on out there than these events. But weed out the ones who think Irish means green Miller Lite (the so-called "Chi-Rish") and the List is manageable.

Sheffield's Lakeview, 3258 N. Sheffield Ave., Chicago (773) 281-4989
We will be featuring a flight of Goose Island beers. Madame Rose, Juliet, Lolita and Dominique.
Madame Rose is a crimson colored Belgian style brown ale fermented with wild
yeast and aged on cherries in wine barrels. Layers of malty complexity, sour cherry, spice and wood notes make Madame Rose an ideal beer to suggest to Bordeaux enthusiasts and beer drinkers fond of Belgian Kriek and Flanders Brown Ales.
Juliet is fermented with wild yeasts and aged in cabernet barrels with blackberries, Juliet is a tart, fruity, complex ale. Notes of wood, tannin, dark fruit and spice make Juliet an ideal beer to suggest to Pinot Noir enthusiasts and beer drinkers who are fond of Belgian sourales.
Lolita is a very sophisticated Raspberry Belgian Ale. Fermented with brettanomyces (the little guys who give us that tart zing) and fresh raspberries, this brew is bright yet deep with spices and edges of the fruits natural tart quality to give it a white wine kind of finish. Lolita was barrel-aged with Schaarbeek cherries, a type of fruit previously unavailable outside Belgium--until Hall asked Seedling Fruit's Peter Klein to grow 30 of the trees for him.
Domininique is a Belgian Sour Ale aged in Goose Island Bourbon County Stout barrels. $12 for a flight.
