Join Fountainhead for a night of local Cask beer. For the first time anywhere: Metropolitan Dynamo Cacao Lager & Two Brothers Dry-Hopped Northwind Imperial Stout. Doug & Tracy from Metropolitan, and Andy from Two Brothers will be there to answer any questions and have a few beers with you.

8:00 p.m. • Goose Island Three Sisters Tasting

Join Finnegans and Goose Island for a special tasting of the "Three Sisters" lineup from their reserve portfolio. Jim DeBolt will be on hand to premiere new bottlings of Juliet, Madame Rose and Lolita, along with bites from chef David Donohugh. All three beers are aged up to 13 months in barrels with fresh fruit from local farms. Juliet, which is aged for 13 months in a mix of French and American red wine barrels, enjoyed the company of 55 pounds of fresh blackberries sourced from Michigan's Mick Klug Farms in each barrel. Lolita also sat in French and American red wine barrels, but was accompanied by 50 pounds of Klug Farm raspberries. And Madame Rose mingled with 40 pounds of whole cherries from Klug and Seedling Farms for a total of 13 months. Space is limited and reservations are recommended.

Tuesday, February 1

On the first Tuesday of each month, we will be conducting an in-depth tour and tutored tasting at our brewery. Classes meet in the State Room, on the second floor of our restaurant. We are limiting this to 25 "students" each month and seats can be reserved, for $15 per person, by calling (312) 755-1677. Classes conducted by our Brewmaster include brewery tour, discussion of beer styles, history, and flavor profiles, light snacks, and tastings of every beer currently on tap.

Wednesday, February 2

We will be tapping up some Dogfish Head Bitches Brew. For all of you DFH fans and those of you that enjoyed the Brew Masters show, you know how elusive this draft beer is now!

Revolution 1st anniversary beer tapping

Revolution is celebrating its first anniversary with a hoppy porter/black IPA. They have also saved a few previous kegs over the year to put on tap: Sodom Imperial Stout collaboration with Three Floyds, Barrel Aged Bad Man Rye Old Ale, Coup de Grace saison with cardamom, El Clavo y La Cruz Abbey Dubbel, Reel Ten ESB, and When the $*!† Hits the Fan Imperial Brown Ale. They will also have a Citra hop ice cream.

6:30 - 9:00 p.m.    Goose Island Beer/Food pairing at Prasino

Join Goose Island at Prasino for their first beer dinner, pairing Goose Island's Belgian Style Ales with organic, local and sustainable cuisine. Cost is $45 per person and includes four-course dinner with matching ales & tasting discussion. Reservations are limited.

6:45 p.m. Dark Beer Tasting

This is the second of many beer tastings to come at Jerry's. To help warm your insides on a cold February night, we've got all sorts of Dark Malty treats to sample. The tentative list includes: Sprecher Black Bavarian, Smuttynose Old Brown Dog, Bell's Best Brown, Avery Ellie's Brown, The Bruery Rugbrød, Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald, Stone Smoked Porter, Grand Teton Black Cauldron, Green Flash Double Stout 2009, Left Hand Oak Aged Imperial Stout, Ommegang Chocolate Indulgence, Allagash Fluxus, Dogfish Head World Wide Stout,and Goose Island Bourbon County Stout. $28 per person includes a light snack. Seating is limited and our last tasting was sold out, so please be sure to call Jerry's and reserve your spot early.
