Bourbon County Stout vertical tasting at LUSH

Bourbon County Stout vertical tasting at LUSH

I didn't put this notice up yesterday because I thought, "Just 20 tickets? They'll be sold out before I can get to writing it up." Especially after notice of this appeared on Chicagoist. But Rachel Driver e-mailed me that no, there are still a few reservations out there. So:

On Friday, December 17th, LUSH Wine and Spirits hosts a vertical tasting of Goose Island Bourbon County Stout at their West Town store (1412 W. Chicago Ave., (312) 666-6900), which includes a visit from the Goose's Greg Hall and Suzanne Wolcott. Attendees will get a walk-through of '06, '07, '08, '09, and '10 BCS as well as the Coffee and Vanilla BCS. Everyone in attendance will also get a collector's pack of one bottle of each of these to take home with them. There will be food to filter all that strong beer.

Event runs from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m, and is limited to just 20 folks. The cost is $155/person. Sign-ups are now open, first come, first served--once the seminar is full, registration will close. Sign up by emailing Rachel at rachel@lushwineandspirits.com or phone LUSH at (312) 666-6900.
