I'd like to say it's because we just got back in town, or because we got off schedule with a new foster placement yesterday. But the truth is that this is just how my house looks.

Here you see our lovely coffee station. With a random tv on the floor. It's been there for weeks. It works, but I can't find a home for it.

Door hanging off it's hinges because my darling daughter at THREE years old kicked it off in a fit of rage. We fixed it, but it broke again.

Here you see a missing door plate because that same daughter (now four) decided to help herself to the screwdriver yesterday, and remove it.
