Wimbledon: Isner vs. Mahut, Longest Match in Open Era History...

     isner-mahur-307.jpg   ...and it still isn't over.  Their match, which actually began Tuesday and was suspended due to darkness then, has ran a total time of 10 hours.  The first four sets went rather briskly 4-6 6-3 7-6 and 6-7 (From Mahut's point of view) lasting around three hours.  The fifth set, the one that still has not yet come to an end, has lasted over 7 hours by itself.  Aside from being the longest match of all time, many other records have been broken:

Most games in a set:  118
Most games in a match:  163
Most aces in one match: Isner with 98
Most aces combined:  193
They're scheduled to complete their match tomorrow morning.  Tune if you can because you'll be watching history... continue.
