Sharpen your elbows and do some burpees because it's Santa hunting season! Or you could just hang out in the Swissôtel Chicago's luxurious Presidential-turned Santa Suite, sip some complimentary hot chocolate from their fancypants cocoa bar and high-five the fat man.
Starting today through Christmas Eve, you're invited to take a tour of Santa's digs located in the Swissôtel Chicago's penthouse. While Santa likes to stay in the five-room suite when he flies into town, it's open for all his naughty and nice fans to experience awesome views and sweet treats.
Best part? Aside from not being shoved into a disease-filled corral to wait to take a picture, it's all FREE of charge.
First, check out the immersive animated holiday story projected onto the walls of the hotel's mod lobby. Then zoom up to the 41st floor, follow the candy cane path and walk into Santa's home away from home.
Elf-guided tours include a stop in the decked out dining room, Santa's office (with obligatory velvet throne) and bedroom. If Santa isn't on site, kids are invited to sit down at the letter-writing station and mail their lists to the North Pole. Plus, if mom and dad OK it, expect a response back from the big guy himself.
Want a picture with Santa? Bring your camera as no photographer is on site and be sure to visit December 12 (11 am- 5 :30 pm) or 19 (1-4 pm). Otherwise, stop by during the hours posted below and take a breather from all of the holiday stress.
