Luscious, no-brainer White Chocolate Popcorn recipe!

There is no other flavor duo quite like that of salty and sweet, and that is exactly what you get with quick and easy White Chocolate Popcorn. I took a batch of it to a party, and everyone was begging me for the recipe.

White Chocolate Popcorn

1 8-ounce bag of plain Okee-Dokee popcorn (regular flavor, not butter or cheese)
1 12-ounce bag of white chocolate chips

1. Pour the popcorn in a large bowl. You'll need room to stir in the chocolate.

2. Melt chocolate in a double boiler or the microwave.

3. Pour melted chocolate on top of popcorn and mix well.

4. Spread out popcorn on wax paper to cool.

5. Enjoy!

White Chocolate Popcorn costs less than $10 to make and takes less than 10 minutes of your precious time--though I promise, it will impress even the pickiest of pallets! The recipe makes two large ziplock bags. If you want, you can put the popcorn in some cute little bags and give them out as gifts, too!

  • Oh my, this sounds so wonderful. If you can do this with white chocolate, why not melt some semi-sweet morsels and add a few pecans or cashews for a dark chocolate version? I can also see adding some dried cherrie as well. I think this is a dangerous recipe for me! (But thank you for sharing anyway)!!

    Hey Judy, I made this recipe tonight, because it's movie night at our house. I melted semisweet chocolate chips and added peanuts. It is delicious, but definitely not food for sitting on the couch and watching a movie. It's way too messy. We put the popcorn in bowls and I used a spoon to eat it. I guess the chocolate would harden on the popcorn if we let it sit out for a while, but once you taste how good it is, there's no way you'll wait for the chocolate to cool. Let me know if you'd like a photo.
