This Thursday the 15th annual World Music Festival Chicago begins with what promises to be a great performance at the Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park. Starting at 6:00 PM will be the Eddie Palmieri Salsa Orchestra with Plena Libre & AfriCaribe.
I have been attending this festival for at least the past 10 years, and it's one of my favorite things about Chicago.
If you don't know, the festival takes place Thursday, September 12 – Sunday, September 22, 2013. It's a free city-wide festival with multiple venues featuring all kinds of musicians and bands.
You can see the full schedule here. Don't miss this opportunity to enjoy an amazing cultural treat.
And maybe I'll see you at one of the performances.
