There was a cartoon in the New Yorker magazine that I saw probably 20 years ago that has always stuck with me. It was a map of the United States as a New Yorker sees the country. It was very funny. Most of the middle of the country was missing with the exception of Sweet Home Chicago. So basically, after Pennsylvania there was empty space until California, which was labeled the "Left Coast." (I don't think it was a political reference, rather a geographical one.)
Anyway, greetings from L.A. I am officially a weather wimp (feel free to make fun of me) and am once again spending some time in sunny Cali escaping the Chicago winter. (If they would put the city under a dome I would never leave!) This is a working trip as I have a virtual business and can work from anywhere.
I want to go on the record for one thing for 2013: This is the year of turning up the volume.
Yes, you read that right. If you did the work last year, you will be reaping the rewards of your efforts BIG TIME this year.
You can quote me on that.
