Have you been to TechWeek yet?

I have really been enjoying the TechWeek conference and expo that started last Thursday night with a kick-off party sponsored by TECH Cocktail and Social Media Club Chicago.

If you haven't been to TechWeek yet, you still have today and Monday. It is taking place at the Merchandise Mart. FYI, the SPARK Women half-day conference is part of TechWeek and starts Monday afternoon. I am definitely attending those sessions.

I have found the panels and speakers so far to be excellent. I caught the last half of a session on Friday about the future of work that discussed distributed teams, virtual teams, the future of corporate, job portfolios (employee who may be doing other project work), and different corporate work situations.

Yesterday I watched via Livestream one panel discussion on bootstrapping as a financing option and one on crowdsourcing as a current and future paradigm for sourcing design and many other things. If you can't get to the expo in person, watching on your laptop or tablet is a great option! And it's free.

I also want to give a special shout-out to Entrepreneurs Unpluggd who did a great job finding four entrepreneurs to share their disaster stories. I feel so much better now.
