But, too bad.
It's going to be in the 30's, even 20's, for the next 7 days.
This is the time of year I get really grumpy because it starts to get nice at home (NYC/NJ) and it's still so damn cold here.
But, I have a trick.
Have you ever heard of International Falls, Minnesota?
This is what I know about Minnesota ......................
it's where Laura Ingalls lived (loved that show) and it's colder than Chicago.
Yes, these are the cities on my iPhone weather app:
Chicago (current home)
Belleville, NJ (home home)
New York City (also considered home)
Los Angeles (for when H is traveling for work)
Kauai, Hawaii (for when I dream of winning the lottery. Shut up, a girl can dream)
International Falls, MN (for perspective)
No matter how warm it is at home
and no matter how cold it STILL is in Chicago,
it could always be worse. At least I don't live in the icebox of America.
A little perspective, like a little humor, goes a long way. ~ Allen Klein
3 makes Chicago's 36 look downright balmy. Where's my green bikini?
