At my college graduation (Lehigh University), the commencement speaker was Tom Kean, the former governor of the great state of New Jersey (woot! woot!) and I have no recollection of a single thing he said.
At my law school graduation (Boston College Law School), the commencement speaker was Paul Cellucci, the former governor of Massachusetts and, as I recall, it was rather uninspiring and sounded like a campaign speech.
But, that's ok.
At least, on both days ~
1/ It was warm and sunny.
2/ My family was there.
3/ I graduated. (*Throw cap in air*)
