Call Jonny Imerman. He knows someone who survived that type of cancer and was the same age when diagnosed. Let them talk. It helps.
As Jim Higley put it at the Imerman Angels event at Salvage One last night, where he described Melinda Marchiano's experience of meeting another young woman who had survived her type of cancer and thinking that she could be like that, there's a word for that, for thinking that could be me. It's called hope.
Today, I am grateful ~
1/ that Jonny Imerman started this organization - such a simple concept that can have such a powerful effect.
2/ for all of the Imerman Angels, including my husband.
3/ for the healing power of hope.
