I was at Luxbar last night when the Holy Grail arrived

A light shone down.  A choir of angels started singing.  People were in shock and awe.

Wow, it's a lot bigger than I thought it would be.  I thought people were smaller 2000 years ago.
And, I thought it would be gold or bronze and kind of rusty.  But, it's silver and shiny.

Holy &#$%!!  That's the STANLEY CUP!!!!

And, that's when everyone rose to their feet in rapture.

That's not a choir of angels!  Those are security guards.
That's not John the Apostle!  That's Coach Quenneville.

And just when I thought Jesus or Elvis or Michael Jackson was going to walk through the door, the Cup was on its way out.  Back to the streets to spread the word.  "Drink my blood."

"And holler if you find a tooth..."

Today, I am grateful ~

1/ That we were in the right place at the right time.

2/ That H got to touch the Cup and shake Quenneville's hand!

3/ That H's phone was charged because I needed proof or this would all be hearsay, not gospel.
