Decoding Your Dog: Ultimate Guide to Explain Common Dog Behaviors

"Decoding Your Dog," written by the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists and edited by Dr. John Ciribassi and Dr. Debra Horwitz, with myself. Here I speak with Dr. Horwitz about why the book was written in the first place....Most importantly how this book - different than any other published - can prevent dog behavior problems, and tell dog owners how to deal with problems once they occur...and all based on science!

(The book is officially available in January, 2014 - but available now HERE via Amazon.com pre-order)

  • Hi Steve, Just preordered the book. I'm looking forward to reading it! Do you think there will be helpful hints for my Annie and Colin - the only two White-Footed Razorback Terriers in the world? Also, do you think it is too late for them to go to puppy kindergarten if they are 13 years old?

  • In reply to Kate:

13 years or 13 months? Years, no quite a puppy class....13 months, sure - if it is the right class will be a good thing.

Book for all breeds - including your rare whatever that is....thank you for preordering the book!

  • p.s. they might not have gone to puppy kindergarten but they do get their teeth brushed every morning before they get out of bed. One has to have priorities :-)!
