At noon, I'll be hosting an event (and walk-ups are invited) at the Museum called "Remembering Lassie" with Jon Provost", who played Timmy. The Museum's executive director Bruce DuMont and broadcast legend himself will be there too, and moderate a Q & A session. Everyone attending will have a chance to meet Jon in person.
And then at 1:35, after the event, Jon will be a guest on my show on WGN.
At 1:05, I begin the show with Dr. Debra Horwitz, a veterinary behaviorist, who will be in Chicago for Bark in the Park, May 4. She'll answer pet behavior questions personally in the park (in Lincoln Park near Montrose Beach), and explain how to use Feliway and Adaptil (pheromone products), which I am also a fan of. However, now, she'll be here to answer your questions - 312-981-7200.
In my Animal News segment, I talk about the idea of medicinal marijuana for pets, which Mike McConnell brought to my attention (wonder how he knew about this?).
U.S. Bones and Awareness Center and the Dog Saving Network is the topic at 1:45 with trainer Chris Dignan.
Hope to see you April 27 at Pints for Pts to benefit Chicago Loves Pits (the final Blackhawks season of the year will be shown at this Blackhawk Road Watch events).
