Pit Bulls Are America's Most Beautiful and Misunderstood Dog

Pit Bulls Are America's Most Beautiful and Misunderstood Dog

A breed ban came very close to happening in Chicago. At this point, I'd like to think our city is beyond breed specific legislation....but all it takes is one mis-timed incident. And, who knows what can happen from there?

Tonight, November 15 Ken Foster will sign copies and talk about his new book "I'm a Good Dog: Pit Bulls, America's Most Beautiful (and Misunderstood) Pet." The book is well written, as if you're chatting personally with one of America's most ardent supporters of the type of dog called a pit bull. And the book is totally factual.

The event is at the Book Cellar, 4736 N. Lincoln Ave., November 15, 7 p.m. The event is free.

Pit Bull fans, of course, will love this book - my suggestion: buy two....One for you. One to demonstrate to a friend or relative who is unsure about pitties and who has tasted the misunderstood Kool-Aid, so they can learn what these dogs REALLY are.

    had known about the boo
    book signing earlier.

  • The good news RogerDog is that I interviewed the author for a podcast and also on my national show, and recorded a video - and also a print story on the way....Lots of chances to learn more coming.
