Wisconsin Shelter Overloaded with Abused Huskies

Wisconsin Shelter Overloaded with Abused Huskies

What do goats know? Investigators followed a stray goat to find 68 Siberian Huskies and a single Australian Cattle Dog - with around 50 other goats....the dogs were in cages or tied up. Most the animals on the this "farm" clearly appeared neglected, some were injured, others dehydrated. The dogs ranged from puppies to seniors, and everything in between.

The good news is that all these animals were taken from the premises. The dogs landed at Fond du Lac County Humane Society. Rescue groups have taken some dogs, but most need homes - and this small shelter can use the help to place them.

When law enforcement officials began their investigation, they were met by a 10-year-old boy at the home, alone. That child spent time with social services, and it is unclear if that child is back at the home at this time. Thus far, according to local media reports, no charges were filed.
