Tree House Humane Society: Adopting 26 Cats in 26 Hours

Who knew that adopting a cat might be an excuse to party. Cats will adopted FREE at Tree House Humane Society, March 30 through April 1...the goal is to adopt 26 cats in 26 hours. A to celebrate all these cats finding forever homes!

Actually, Tree House - and cats at all shelters throughout most of the country - may need help more this season than in decades due to the record warm winter and spring.  Outdoor cats were not only more likely to survive but have begun to breed early. Tree House participates in TNR (trap, neuter, release) of feral cats - spay/neutering feral cats, vaccinating for rabies and then release all the cats back into the colony, except the very youngest kitties which are adopted. Experts predict shelters may be inundated this year.

To make room for those kitties - and because homes are always better than even the best animal shelters, Tree House is doing all they can to find homes for cats of all ages. There are many to choose from....there are vocal cats, quiet cats, slightly plump cats to orange cats to tabby cats to wonderfully affectionate FIV cats. Tree House is partaking in the ASPCA Mega Match-a-Thon.

Talk about a bargain - the cats are all veterinary checked, microchipped, vaccinated, spay/neutered, behaviorally and nutritionally accessed - all that's asked in return is that you provide a lifetime of love and appropriate veterinary care. While donations will be accepted, there is no adoption that will be accessed!

What's more, Tree House will give all those who adopt all sorts of free stuff.
