WGN Radio Petcast: IKC Dog Show, Lincoln State Cat Show

A very special Chicago Weekend - time for the big dog show and big cat show: LISTEN HERE to the Steve Dale Pet World's WGN Radio Petcast (may take a moment to load).

Deb Cooper talks about the International Kennel Club of Chicago Cluster of Dog Shows, February 24-26 at McCormick Place. Many of the top dogs in the world (including lots you may have seen at Westminster), and many canine sporting events to watch and vendors featuring a wide array of dog products to buy. Sunday afternoon I will be there to announce the Group competitions and Best in Show.

The Lincoln State Cat Show is one of the most prestigious cat show in America, February 25-25, at Harper College, 1220 Algonquin Road (Building M), Palatine. If you've never been to a cat show, Dayle Marsh describes what they're all about. This show features some of the most spectacular cats in America. In addition, there are breed booths, and informational talks. Saturday morning, I will broadcast live on Bill Moller's Show, 10:30 AM CDT (www.wgnradio.com or 720 AM-- and also talk at noon at the show about overweight cats, and enriching the environment for indoor cats

  • BTW, the "Guitar Loving Dog" video, which you posted on Jan. 1, 2012, made it to Jay Leno on Tues. I thought it looked familiar.

  • Cool, Jack - thanks for telling me....who knows, maybe his staff saw it here....
