Personal Note: Above is the press release, I have seen Dr. Horwitz speak more times than I can possibly count, and I always learn. She is an entertaining, engaging speaker. And she is absolutely committed to the College of Veterinary Behaviorists, and communicating to the public. For the first time ever the College of Veterinary Behaviorists is releasing a book - the ultimate book on dog behavior - with Dr. John Ciribassi - also serving as editor (wth Horwitz) - and many veterinary behaviorists are contributing. I am honored to edit this book.
In this WGN Radio PETCAST, Horwtiz talks about how treating pets like our children is not always a very good thing, and lets the cat out of the bag about the dog book.
I admire her leadership; Horwitz has for many years been unparalleled at communicating to her veterinary colleagues as well as the general public, using her expertise to benefit the lives of pets.

You mean Liz didn't get it? She seems to have Garfield under control.
