The amazing Pedigree Foundation has been historically kicked off their campaigns around the time of the Westminster Dog Show to help shelter dogs...remember, they have the commercials that will make you cry.
Don't believe me - check this out.
Over the years, Pedigree has been able to raise more than $7 million to help shelter dogs, which typically kicked off at Westminster (which this year is Monday, Tuesday February 13-14).
While no longer associated with the dog show, Pedigree, of course, remains associated with dogs - holding their very own “Every Dog, Dog Show” on Facebook between now and 11 p.m. ET on February 14.
For every dog lover who interacts with their Pedigree Facebook page (you can do this even if you're not otherwise on Facebook) – Pedigree will donate a bowl of food … up to 500,000 bowls of food! All you need to do is upload a photo of your four-legged friend or tell us your pup’s story. And, when you do, Pedigree feeds a homeless dog in a shelter and breed rescue.
Yes - Dog's Rule! And so does anyone or any company who barks the bark to help shelter dogs.

May be a great foundation but Pedigree dog food is crap. Here are the first six ingredients of their adult food:
1. ground whole corn; 2. meat and bone meal (they don't have a clue what the animal protein actually is); 3. ground whole wheat; 4. corn gluten meal; 5. animal fat preserved with BHA; 6. wheat mill run
All dirt cheap, low quality ingredients!
