The transcript of The 2011 sold-out 33rd Annual Winn Feline Foundation Symposium, WINNing the FIP Fight, featuring legendary veterinarians Dr. Niels Pederson and Dr. Al Legendre, is HERE (compliments of the Veterinary Information Network).

Audio of the Q & A session with both Legendre and Pederson HERE (compliments of Pet World Radio/Black Dog Radio Productions)
Legendre, professor of Internal Medicine & Oncology at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Tennessee, spoke about a new treatment, which may significantly help cats with the dry form of feline infectious peritonitis. Pederson, director of the Center for Companion Animal Health and the Veternary Genetics Laboratory, University of California, Davis, spoke about his work on genetics and FIP.
Both veterinarians contributed to explain all they know about the process of what makes this happen in the first place, and what (if anything) breeders and cat owners can do (aside from the treatment Legendre now offers for cats with dry FIP).
An overview of the symposium is described in a print story I wrote about the Winn Feline Symposium for Tribune Media Services.

See Dr. Addie's YouTube video on how FIP happens.
The Winn Feline does not charge for either the audio or transcripts - though donations to the Bria Fund (to support FIP) are always welcome.
