Tree House Humane Society is proud to announce Catnip Tea & Sage Advice, and all invited.

Renown cat book author and cat behavior consultant Pam Johnson-Bennett comes to Chicago, Friday November 4 for a book signing at the Tree House Humane Society, Bucktown Branch (1629 N. Ashland Ave), 6 to 8 p.m.

Johnson-Bennett signs copies of the updated version of her classic "Think Like A Cat." When the original came out 11 years ago, it quickly became a bible for cat advice, both for professionals and for the general public. There's lots of new information since 2000 relative to cat behavior, which she includes in the book. What's more she'll personally sign copies, and proceeds benefit cats at Tree House.

Johnson-Bennett will talk about some of what's new, and answer questions about your cats. All this expert behavior advice as well as the catnip tea - it's all free.

Tree House Board member, cat behavior consultant and Tribune Media services columnist/USA Weekend editor Steve Dale will introduce Johnson-Bennett. Steve has a special announcement to make about a book of his own coming out.

Johnson-Bennett is a Tree House a member of the Advisory Board for Tree House, and the author of eight books, including "Cat vs. Cat," "Psycho Kitty," "Starting from Scratch," "Hiss and Tell" and "Twisted Whiskers." She is likely the top selling cat book author ever. Dale says, "This is so cool and gracious for Pam to come to Chicago to do this.
