Anti Cruelty Society of Chicago Celebrity Rehab Bark-B-Que

An annual summer barbecue event called Celebrity Rehab Bark-B Que  is held to help homeless animals, benefiting the Anti Cruelty Society. Dogs (well-socialized, please) are welcome at this beach bash, at Oak Street Beach Eat and Drink (at Oak Street Beach) on August 31, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

I have some problems though...I don't completely understand. A rehab event. The Anti Cruelty Society says, "to help support the rehabilitation centers that help save lives every day!"

Is this event for Lindsay Lohan's dog? Or Danny Bonaduce's cat? I'm not the emcee, but perhaps Dr. Drew is.

No matter, anything to help Anti Cruelty - I am for. Tickets are $65 per person ($75 at the door). The admission includes soft drinks, beer, win, barbecue for people and treats for dogs. Canine entrance fee is Free!
